This summer we welcome Lydia Dening to the Animate Arts team, as our Community Engagement Assistant.
With the generous support from Kent Arts Investment Fund, Lydia will be working with Animate Arts for 3 months to develop audiences and increase participation in projects specifically targeting young people and family audiences. Lydia will also be actively engaging more partners, clients and funders to experience our work and inspire future collaborations.
We have an exciting programme of work between May – September 2016. These projects include interactive installations at festivals, celebratory art parades, workshops for families and young people, and creative projects in schools across Kent. We are also developing future projects including Christmas projects, UK-touring Paper Apothecary, and expanding our school programme with projects such as the ‘Cardboard Orchestra’ and teacher training projects.
