We have been working extensively with museums, art galleries, libraries and theatres across the south-east, and particularly in Kent, since 2002. Over the years we have;
- transformed library spaces into inspiring, family friendly environments
- created interactive installations to engage audiences and visitors
- delivered magical education programmes with local schools and communities
- supported cultural organisations and their staff through creative CPD workshops
We know how powerful and important high-quality creative projects can be for cultural venues, so we work in close partnership with venues to build projects that promote their cultural offer through the arts. Our artist-led projects will inspire your visitors to participate, engage and make meaningful connections with your programmes and events.
“Animate Arts made the wonderful ‘Paper Apothecary’ at The Beaney, and right from the beginning they waved their creativity across the whole venue and staff force. The gallery was transformed, collections were seen completely differently, staff were enchanted and visitors were engaged.“
Did you know that we were nationally awarded ‘Best Participatory Practice’ for our ‘Paper Apothecary’ project at The Beaney Museum, Canterbury? We worked closely with staff, their local community, schools, artists and visitors to transform the way they engaged visitors in their venue.
